The apple slices are sweet, the nut butter is salty and the seed mix adds a crunchy component. This makes a perfect low calorie snack but also works lovely for a party. Additionally these half-dipped apple slices are less than 100 calories!
1/2 apple, sliced
1 tbsp almond or peanut butter
1 tbsp sliced almonds or walnuts, crushed
1 tsp sesame seeds or chia seeds
2 tsp flax seeds
1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
1. Place the peanut or almond butter into a microwave safe ramekin. Heat for 20 sec. or until the butter is slightly melted. Stir.
2. In another ramekin mix the seeds with the cinnamon and crushed almonds.
