OJ smoothie

Summary:

A twist on drinking regular OJ in the morning… if you have strawberries and bananas turn it into a smoothie! It’s the perfect combination between tart and sweet. Sure to be a crowd pleaser for a breakfast or brunch gathering (besides being a healthy alternative!)

Ingredients:
2 cups frozen strawberries, coarsely chopped
1 banana
juice from 2 large oranges, about 10 oz
1/4 tsp honey

Directions:

OJ smoothie

1. Juice 2 oranges by hand or by an electric juicer.

2. Blend the OJ, honey, strawberries and banana until smooth.

3. Serve and sip immediately for best results. 

Notes & Tips:
If using fresh strawberries you will need to add ice to create a smoothie like texture.

If you like the look and taste of drizzled honey add it after serving the smoothie instead of integrating it into the mixture.
